ਹਿੰਨੋਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਵਾਧੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੋਫ਼ਥ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਕੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਾੜਨ ਲਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਮੋਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਣ। ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਸਾੜਨ।
