2 Kings 22:2
ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੀਕ ਸਨ। ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੇ।

| his father, | אָבִ֔יו | ʾābîw | ah-VEEOO |
| and turned not aside | וְלֹא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| סָ֖ר | sār | sahr | |
| to the right hand | יָמִ֥ין | yāmîn | ya-MEEN |
| or to the left. | וּשְׂמֹֽאול׃ | ûśĕmōwl | oo-seh-MOVE-l |
