ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਊਰੀਯਾਹ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਵੇਰ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਬਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਦੀ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਖੂਨ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਕਰ। ਪਰ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਲ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਾਂਗਾ।”
