ਮਨਹੇਮ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ, ਉਸ ਨੇ 50 ਸ਼ੈਕਲ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਲਈ। ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਪੈਸਾ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਸੱਕੇ। ਫੇਰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ।

ye will not	בְּאֵ֔לֶּה	bĕʾēlle	beh-A-leh
be reformed	לֹ֥א	lōʾ	loh
things, these by me by	תִוָּֽסְר֖וּ	tiwwāsĕrû	tee-wa-seh-ROO
but will walk	לִ֑י	lî	lee
contrary	וַֽהֲלַכְתֶּ֥ם	wahălaktem	va-huh-lahk-TEM

fifty	אַשּׁ֔וּר	ʾaššûr	AH-shoor
shekels	חֲמִשִּׁ֧ים	ḥămiššîm	huh-mee-SHEEM
silver, of	שְׁקָלִ֛ים	šĕqālîm	sheh-ka-LEEM
to give	כֶּ֖סֶף	kesep	KEH-sef
to the king	לְאִ֣ישׁ	lĕʾîš	leh-EESH
Assyria. of	אֶחָ֑ד	ʾeḥād	eh-HAHD
So the king	וַיָּ֙שָׁב֙	wayyāšāb	va-YA-SHAHV
Assyria of	מֶ֣לֶךְ	melek	MEH-lek
turned back,	אַשּׁ֔וּר	ʾaššûr	AH-shoor
and stayed	וְלֹא	wĕlōʾ	veh-LOH
not	עָ֥מַד	ʿāmad	AH-mahd
there	שָׁ֖ם	šām	shahm
in the land.	בָּאָֽרֶץ׃	bāʾāreṣ	ba-AH-rets
