ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅੱਜ ਦਿਨ ਤੀਕ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ, ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਾਜਰੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਫਨਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
