ਪਰ ਯੋਰਾਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਬਾ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੋ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਚੁਰਾ ਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦੀ ਦਾਈ ਸਮੇਤ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਬਲਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੋ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਛੁਪਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਚ ਗਿਆ।
