ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੇਸ ਬਦਲ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੋਸ਼ਾਕ ਪਾਈ ਰੱਖ।” ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੇਸ ਵਟਾਅ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਨੋ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ।

2 Chronicles 35:22
ਪਰ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਕੋ ਨਾਲ ਭਿੜਨ ਦੀ ਠਾਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੇਸ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰ ਗਿਆ। ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਨਕੋ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਿਆ। ਇਉਂ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਮਗਿੱਦੋ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ।
Job 24:15
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਉਹ ਰਾਤ ਪੈਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ। ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖੇਗਾ।’ ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਢੱਕ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
