ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਦਰਿਆ ਤੀਕ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੀ, ਹਥਿਆ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਾ ਨਿਕਲ ਸੱਕਿਆ।

ਅਤੇ ਓਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੀ, ਫਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਕੂਚ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਚੱਲ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਸੀ।
Jeremiah 46:2
ਮਿਸਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਕੋ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਨਕੋ ਮਿਸਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਕਰਕਮਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਰ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਕਰਕਮਿਸ਼ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਹੈ। ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ, ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਨੇ ਕਰਕਮਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਕੋ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਚੌਬਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਰਾਜੇ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੈ:

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚਲੀ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਨਦੀ ਤਾਈਂ ਫੈਲੇਗੀ।
Numbers 34:5
ਅਸਮੋਨ ਤੋਂ, ਸਰਹੱਦ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਮਹਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਮੁੱਕੇਗੀ।
Joshua 15:4

ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਦਰਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਤੀਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੀਕ ਉਸਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਨੇ ਘੱਲੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਜੀਅ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
Isaiah 27:12
ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਨਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਨਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਲੋਕੋ, ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਵੋਗੇ।
