ਉਸੇ ਵਕਤ ਅਦੋਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਮਦਦ ਮੰਗੀ।

Isaiah 7:1
ਆਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯੋਥਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਯੋਥਾਮ ਉਜ਼ੀਯ੍ਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਰਸੀਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਫਕਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਰਸੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਕਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਓੱਥੇ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇ।
Isaiah 7:17
“ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੀਆ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ । ਉਹ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੈਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ।
