1 Corinthians 9:20
ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਸਾਂ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
