ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਲੇਵੀ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ 4,000 ਲੇਵੀ ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਖਾਸ ਸਾਜ਼ ਬਣਵਾਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਵਜੰਤਰੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਗਾਨ ਕਰਣਗੇ।”

ਹੇਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੰਗੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸਦੇ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸਾਜ਼ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਗੁਣਗਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗੀਤਕ ਸਾਜ਼ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ। ਯਦੁਥੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਫ਼ਾਟਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਕਰਦੇ।
1 Chronicles 16:5
ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਟੋਲੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਖੜਤਾਲਾਂ ਵਜਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ। ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ’ਚ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਉਂ: ਯਈਏਲ, ਸ਼ਮੀਰਾਮੋਥ, ਯਿਹੀਏਲ, ਮਤਿੱਥਯਾਹ, ਅਲੀਆਬ, ਬਨਾਯਾਹ, ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਈੇਏਲ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਿਲਰੁਬਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੰਗੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
