ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਆਲਹ ਨੂੰ ਗਏ। (ਬਆਲਹ ਕਿਰਯਥ-ਯਾਰੀਮ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਂ ਹੈ।) ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗਏ। ਨੇਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਿਆਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
