சங்கீதம் 87

1 அவர் அஸ்திபாரம் பரிசுத்த பர்வதங்களில் இருக்கிறது. His foundation is in the holy mountains.

2 கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபின் வாசஸ்தலங்களெல்லாவற்றைப்பார்க்கிலும் சீயோனின் வாசல்களில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார். The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 தேவனுடைய நகரமே! உன்னைக் குறித்து மகிமையான விசேஷங்கள் வசனிக்கப்படும். (சேலா.) Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

4 என்னை அறிந்தவர்களுக்குள்ளே ராகாபையும் பாபிலோனையும் குறித்துப் பேசுவேன்; இதோ பெலிஸ்தியரிலும் தீரியரிலும், எத்தியோப்பியரிலுங் கூட, இன்னான் அங்கே பிறந்தானென்றும்; I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.

5 சீயோனைக்குறித்து இன்னான் இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தானென்றும் சொல்லப்படும்; உன்னதமானவர்தாமே அதை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவார். And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

6 கர்த்தர் ஜனங்களைப் பேரெழுதும்போது, இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தான் என்று அவர்களைத் தொகையிடுவார். (சேலா.) The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.

7 எங்கள் ஊற்றுகளெல்லாம் உன்னில் இருக்கிறது என்று பாடுவாரும் ஆடுவாரும் ஏகமாய்ச் சொல்லுவார்கள். As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
