Psalm 76 in Tamil

1 யூதாவில் தேவன் அறியப்பட்டவர்; இஸ்ரவேலில் அவருடைய நாமம் பெரியது. In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.

2 சாலேமில் அவருடைய கூடாரமும், சீயோனில் அவருடைய வாசஸ்தலமும் இருக்கிறது. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

3 அங்கேயிருந்து வில்லின் அம்புகளையும், கேடகத்தையும், பட்டயத்தையும், யுத்தத்தையும் முறித்தார். (சேலா.) There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

4 மகத்துவமுள்ளவரே, கொள்ளையுள்ள பர்வதங்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீர் பிரகாசமுள்ளவர். Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

5 தைரிய நெஞ்சுள்ளவர்கள் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டு, நித்திரையடைந்து அசர்ந்தார்கள்; வல்லமையுள்ள எல்லா மனுஷருடைய கைகளும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவாமற்போயிற்று. The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

6 யாக்கோபின் தேவனே, உம்முடைய கண்டிதத்தினால் இரதங்களும் குதிரைகளும் உறங்கி விழுந்தது. At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

7 நீர், நீரே, பயங்கரமானவர்; உமது கோபம் மூளும்போது உமக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்? Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

8 நியாயம் விசாரிக்கவும் பூமியில் சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் யாவரையும் இரட்சிக்கவும் தேவரீர் எழுந்தருளினபோது, Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

9 வானத்திலிருந்து நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக் கேட்கப்பண்ணினீர்; பூமி பயந்து அமர்ந்தது. (சேலா.) When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

10 மனுஷனுடைய கோபம் உமது மகிமையை விளங்கப்பண்ணும்; மிஞ்சுங்கோபத்தை நீர் அடக்குவீர். Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

11 பொருத்தனைபண்ணி அதை உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நிறைவேற்றுங்கள்; அவரைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிற அனைவரும் பயங்கரமானவருக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவரக்கடவர்கள். Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

12 பிரபுக்களின் ஆவியை அடக்குவார்; பூமியின் ராஜாக்களுக்கு அவர் பயங்கரமானவர். He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

2 Saalaemil avarutaiya koodaaramum, seeyonil avarutaiya vaasasthalamum irukkirathu. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

3 Angaeyirunthu villin ampukalaiyum, kaedakaththaiyum, pattayaththaiyum, yuththaththaiyum muriththaar. (selaa.) There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

4 Makaththuvamullavarae, kollaiyulla parvathangalaippaarkkilum neer pirakaasamullavar. Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

5 Thairiya nenjullavarkal kollaiyidappattu, niththiraiyatainthu asarnthaarkal; vallamaiyulla ellaa manusharutaiya kaikalum avarkalukku uthavaamarpoyittaு. The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

6 Yaakkopin thaevanae, ummutaiya kanntithaththinaal irathangalum kuthiraikalum urangi vilunthathu. At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

7 Neer, neerae, payangaramaanavar; umathu kopam moolumpothu umakku munpaaka nirpavan yaar? Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

8 Niyaayam visaarikkavum poomiyil siraுmaippattavarkal yaavaraiyum iratchikkavum thaevareer eluntharulinapothu, Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

9 Vaanaththilirunthu niyaayaththeerppuk kaetkappannnnineer; poomi payanthu amarnthathu. (selaa.) When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

10 Manushanutaiya kopam umathu makimaiyai vilangappannnum; minjungaோpaththai neer adakkuveer. Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

11 Poruththanaipannnni athai ungal thaevanaakiya karththarukku niraivaettaுngal; avaraich soolnthirukkira anaivarum payangaramaanavarukkuk kaannikkaikalaik konnduvarakkadavarkal. Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

12 Pirapukkalin aaviyai adakkuvaar; poomiyin raajaakkalukku avar payangaramaanavar. He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
