ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସତ୍ଯ କହୁଛି। ଗୋଟିଏ ଗହମ ଦାନା ଭୂମିରେ ପଡି ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମରିବା ଆବଶ୍ଯକ। ତା ପରେ ଏହା ବଢି ବହୁତ ଶସ୍ଯ ଦିଏ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ଏହା କଦାପି ମ ରେ ନାହିଁ, ତବେେ ଏହା ସର୍ବଦା ଗୋଟିଏ ମଞ୍ଜି ହାଇେ ରହିଥାଏ।

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
