Proverbs 28:28
ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଉନ୍ନୀତ ହେଲେ, ଲୋକେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲୁଚାନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ, ଧାର୍ମିକଗଣ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।

ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଣୁ ହେଲେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ ପାଇଲେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଆର୍ତ୍ତସ୍ବର କରନ୍ତି।

େ ହରୋଦ ନିଜର ଏହି ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଶୁଣିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଦୂତ ହଠାତ୍ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କଲେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶରୀରକୁ କୀଟମାନେ ଖାଇଲେ। ଶଷେ ରେ ସେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।

ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରଦେଶ ରେ ଓ ପ୍ରତି ନଗର ରେ, ଯେ କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ରାଜାଜ୍ଞା ଓ ନିଯମ ପତ୍ର ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା, ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ୟିହୁଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ଆନନ୍ଦ ଓ ଆମାଦେ, ଭୋଜି ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳର ଦିନ ହେଲା। ପୁଣି ଦେଶର ଅନକେ ଲୋକ ୟିହୁଦୀଯ ମତାଲମ୍ବୀ ହେଲେ, ଯେ ହତେୁ ସମାନେେ ୟିହୁଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ସକାେଶ ଭୟ କଲେ।
