ଆଗୋ ସିୟୋନ କନ୍ଯ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଗ ରେ କି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଦବେି? ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କାହା ସହିତ ମୁଁ ତୁଳନା କରିବି? ଆଗୋ ସିୟୋନ କୁମାରୀ କନ୍ଯ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନା ଦବୋପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କାହା ସହିତ ତୁଳନା କରିବି ? କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିନାଶ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପରି ବିସ୍ତୃତ, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କିଏ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିପାରିବା ପାଇଁ ସକ୍ଷମ ହବେ?

ହେ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଯିହୁଦାବାସୀଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ, 'ଆମ୍ଭ ଚକ୍ଷୁରୁ ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ଲୋତକ ବହିବ, ତାହା କବେେ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନୂଢ଼ା କନ୍ଯା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭ ହୃଦଯ କାନ୍ଦିବ। ଯେ ହତେୁ ତାହା ମହାଭଙ୍ଗ ରେ ଓ ମହା ଦୁଃଖଦାୟକ କ୍ଷତ ରେ ଭଗ୍ନ ହାଇେଅଛି।

ଗିଲିଯଦ ରେ ଔଷଧ ଅଛି ଓ ସଠାେ ରେ ବୈଦ୍ଯମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ତବେେ ମାରେ ଆଘାତପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନେ କାହିଁକି ଆରୋଗ୍ୟଲାଭ କରୁ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି ?

ଦାନିଏଲ 9:12
ତାଙ୍କ କାରଣରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ବିଗ୍ଭର ଦେଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମହା ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଘଟାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି କାରଣରୁ କୌଣସି ନଗର ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ପରି ଦୁଃଖ ଭୋଗ କରିନାହିଁ।

ତେଣୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ହେ ସୋର, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ଅଟୁ, ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ତରଙ୍ଗ ଯେପରି କୂଳକୁ ଲଙ୍ଘନ କରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସହେିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅନକେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀକି ଉଠାଇବା।

ବାବିଲ ଅକସ୍ମାତ୍ ପତିତ ଓ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେଛି। ତାହା ପାଇଁ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କର, ତାହାର ବଦନୋ ପାଇଁ ଔଷଧ ଦିଅ। ସେ ହୁଏତ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହାଇପୋରିବ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧରଣୀକୁ କମ୍ପିତ କରିଅଛ ଏବଂ ତାକୁ ଦୁଇ ଭାଗରେ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଛ। ଏହାର ଫାଟକକୁ ମରାମତି କର, କାରଣ ଏହାର ପତନ ହେଉଅଛି।
