Jeremiah 12:4
କେତକୋଳ ଦେଶ ଶୁଷ୍କ ରହିବ ଓ ସମୁଦାଯ ଦେଶ ରେ ତୃଣ ଶୁଷ୍କ ରହିବ ? ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ଯୋଗୁଁ ପଶୁ ଓ ପକ୍ଷୀସବୁ କ୍ଷଯ ପାଇଛନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, ଯିରିମିୟ ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ବଞ୍ଚି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶଷୋବସ୍ଥା ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ।

ମୁଁ, ଯିରିମିୟ, ପର୍ବତମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଚରାସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଁ କବଳେ ବିଳାପ କରିବି। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗୋଳ କରିବି। କାରଣ କହେି ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ସଠାେ ରେ ନ ଥିବେ। କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ୟାତାଯାତ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ପଶୁପଲର ରବ ଶୁଣାୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣ ଓ ଭୂଚର ପଶୁଗଣ ଉଭୟେ ସଠାରୁେ ପଳାଯନ କରିବେ।

ମୁଁ ଚାହିଁ ଦେଖିଲି କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ନ ଥିଲେ ଓ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀସବୁ ପଳାଇ ୟାଇଥିଲେ।
ହୋଶେୟ 4:3
ତେଣୁ ଦେଶଟି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପରି ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ରେ କାନ୍ଦେ ଓ ତା'ର ଲୋକମାନେ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହାଇପଡେନ୍ତି। ଏପରିକି ସ୍ଥଳଭାଗର ପ୍ରାଣୀ, ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀ ଓ ସାମୁଦ୍ରିକ ମତ୍ସ୍ଯ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରନ୍ତି।
ଯିରିମିୟ 23:10
କାରଣ ଯିହୁଦା ପାପୀ ଓ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ସମାନେେ ବହୁ ଭାବରେ ଅବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅଭିଶାପ ଯୋଗୁଁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଚାରଣଭୂମି ଶୁଷ୍କ ହାଇେଅଛି। ଦେଶ ଶାେକ କରୁଅଛି। ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯବହାର ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମ ନ୍ଯାଯସଙ୍ଗତ ନୁହେଁ।

ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ଉପ ରେ, ମନୁଷ୍ଯ, ପଶୁ, କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥିତ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଓ ଭୂମିର ଫଳ ଉପ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭର କୋପ ଓ କୋର୍ଧ ଢ଼ଳାୟିବ। ତାହା ଅଗ୍ନି ସଦୃଶ ସବୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବ, ତାକୁ କହେି ଲିଭାଇ ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଉର୍ବର ଜମିକୁ ଲବଣାକ୍ତ ଭୂମିରେ ବଦଳାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ଦେଶର ଅଧର୍ମୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଠାେରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି।

ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦଶାେନୁସା ରେ ଯାଜକମାନେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି। ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ ଏପରି ହବୋକୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନେ ଶଷେ ରେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ସମୟରେ କ'ଣ କରିବେ ?

ସେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ର, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଭୂମିକୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସମଗ୍ର ଦେଶର ସମାପ୍ତି ଆସିୟାଇଛି।

ଯିହୁଦା ଶାେକ କରୁଅଛି ଓ ତାହାର ନଗରର ଲୋକମାନେ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହାଇେଅଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ କଳାବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧି ଭୂମିରେ ବସିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ଲୋକମାନେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତଚିତ୍କାର କରୁଛନ୍ତି।

ଆଉ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନେ ବାଯୁତୁଲ୍ଯ ହବେେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଅନ୍ତର ରେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଘଟିବ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 4:28
ତେଣୁ ପୃଥିବୀବାସୀ ଶୋକ କରିବେ ଓ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ କୃଷ୍ଣବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବେ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା କହିଅଛୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ମନ ରେ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଅଛୁ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନୁତାପ କରିବୁ ନାହିଁ କି ଏଥିରୁ ବିରତ ହବେୁ ନାହିଁ।
ଗୀତସଂହିତା 50:21
ଅତୀତରେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲ। ମୁଁ ଚୁପ୍ ରହିଲି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭାବି ନଇେଛ ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରି। ମୁଁ ଆଉ ନୀରବରେ ରହିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର କରି କହିଦେଉଛି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତିରସ୍କାର କରିବି।
