ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଥିବା ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ସର୍ପ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଚ଼ତୁର ଥିଲା। ସର୍ପଟି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକଟିକୁ କହିଲା, ଏହା କ'ଣ ସତ୍ଯ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଉଦ୍ୟାନର କୌଣସି ବୃକ୍ଷର ଫଳ ନଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ?

ବିଶାଳ ସାପକୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରାଗଲା। ( ସହେି ବିଶାଳ ସାପ ହେଉଛି ସହେି ଅତୀତର ପୁରୁଣା ସାପ, ଯାହାକୁ ଶୟତାନ କୁହାୟାଏ। ସେ ପୃଥିବୀ ବାସୀଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲ ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ନିଏ। ସାପକୁ ତା'ର ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସଦଳବଳ ରେ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରାଗଲା।

ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଲାଗୁ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଏପରି କି ଶୟତାନ ନିଜେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତଜେସ୍ବୀ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତର ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରେ।
ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ବାକ୍ୟ 20:2
ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତ ସହେି ବିଶାଳକାୟ ପୁରୁଣା ସାପକୁ ଧରିପକାଇଲେ। ସହେି ସାପ ହେଉଛି ଶୟତାନ। ଦୂତ ତାହାକୁ ଏକହଜାର ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଶିକୁଳି ରେ ବାନ୍ଧି ଦେଲେ।

ଶୟତାନ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର, ତବେେ ଏହି ପଥରଗୁଡିକୁ ରୋଟୀ ହାଇେ ୟିବାପାଇଁ କୁହ।

ସାବଧାନ, ଗଧିଆମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତ ରେ ମଷେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡିବା ଭଳି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାରକୁ ପଠାଉଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସାପ ଭଳି ଚତୁର ହୁଅ। କପୋତ ଭଳି ନିରୀହ ହୁଅ।

ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକକୁ କହିଲେ, ଏପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି କଲ? ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକଟି ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, ସର୍ପ ମାେତେ ଭୁଲାଇ ଦଲୋ, ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ତାକୁ ଖାଇଲି।

ତହୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଗଧ ମୁଖ ରେ ଭାଷା ଦେଲେ, ତେଣୁ ସେ ବିଲିଯମକୁ କହିଲା, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର କ'ଣ କଲି? କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରାଗି ମାେତେ ତିନିଥର ପ୍ରହାର କଲ?

ଶୟତାନ କହିଲା, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମାଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର, ତବେେ ତଳକୁ ଡଇେଁପଡ। କାରଣ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ରେ ଲଖାେଅଛ:

ଶୟତାନ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାଦତଳେ ପଡି ମାେତେ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମୁଁ ଏସବୁ ଦଇେ ଦବେି।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 27:1
ସଦେିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣାର ଦାରୁଣ, ବୃହତ୍ ଓ ଦୃଢ଼ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଦ୍ବାରା ଦ୍ରୁତଗାମୀ ସର୍ପ ଲିବିଯାଥନକୁ ଓ ବକ୍ରଗାମୀ ସର୍ପ ଲିବିଯାଥନକୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦବେେ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ରସ୍ଥ ଦୀର୍ଘକାଯ ଜନ୍ତୁକୁ ସଂହାର କରିବେ।
ଉପଦେଶକ 4:10
ଯଦି ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପଡ଼ିୟାଏ, ତବେେ ତା'ର ସାଙ୍ଗ ତାକୁ ଉଠାଇବାକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ପଡ଼ିବା ବେଳେ ଏକାକୀ ଥାଏ, ତାକୁ ଉଠାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଅନ୍ୟ କହେି ସଠାେ ରେ ନ ଥାଏ।
ପିତରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ପତ୍ 3:7
ଠିକ୍ ସହେିଭଳି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପତିମାନେ ! ତୁମ୍ଭ ପତ୍ନୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଭଲ ବୁଝାମଣା ରେ ଜୀବନଯାପନ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦଖାଇବୋ ଉଚିତ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭଳି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଦାନ କରନ୍ତି, ଯାହାକି ପ୍ରକୃତ ଜୀବନ ଦାନ କରେ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ରେ କୌଣସି ଅସୁବିଧା ନ ଘଟିବା ଲାଗି ଏହାସବୁ କର।
