Ezekiel 13:16
ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ଯେଉଁମାନେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲେ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ନ ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶାନ୍ତିର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଆନ୍ତି। ଏହା ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି।

ଯଦିଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ ଗମ୍ଭୀର ଭାବରେ ଆଘାତପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହାଇେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଏହା କହି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି। ଏଠା ରେ 'ଶାନ୍ତି' ଅଛି, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସଠାେ ରେ ଆଦୌ ଶାନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

ସଠାେ ରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଅଛି ବୋଲି କହି ଏହି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲବାଟରେ ନଇେଛନ୍ତି, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସଠାେ ରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ନ ଥାଏ। ୟିଏକି ପ୍ରାଚୀର ନିର୍ମାଣକାରୀ, ୟିଏକି ପ୍ରାଚୀର ମରାମତି କରେ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଫାଟକୁ ପତଳା ଲପେ ଦଇେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କବଳେ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି।
ଯିରିମିୟ 8:11
ଯଦିଓ ମାରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଗୁରୁତର ଭାବରେ ଆଘାତପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଏଠା ରେ 'ଶାନ୍ତି' ଅଛି, ବୋଲି କହି ସମାନେେ ସହଜ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି। ସେତବେେଳେ ସଠାେ ରେ କୌଣସି 'ଶାନ୍ତି' ନ ଥାଏ।

ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଶାନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ଶାନ୍ତିର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲେ ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାର ବାକ୍ଯ ସଫଳ ହେଲାପ ରେ ସିନା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ପଠାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡ଼େ।

ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସମ୍ବାଦ ଦିଅ, 'ନିହିଲାମୀଯ ଶମଯିଯର ବିଷଯ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶମଯିଯଙ୍କୁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ପ୍ରଚାର ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇ ନାହୁଁ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କହି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଜନ୍ମାଇଅଛି।
