ତା'ପ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ପ୍ରଜ୍ବଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ଆଡକୁ ୟାଇ କହିଲା, ହେ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦାସ, ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସ।

ତା'ପରେ ସିଂହାସନ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଧ୍ବନି ଆସିଲା। ସହେି ଧ୍ବନି କହିଲା :

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ଭାବୁଛ ଯେ, ଲୋକେ ମାେତେ ଯେପରି ଗ୍ରହଣ ଓ ସମର୍ଥନ କରନ୍ତି ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛି ? ନା! ଜଣେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଛନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ କବଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛି। ମୁଁ ଯଦି ମଣିଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଥାନ୍ତି, ତବେେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ସବେକ ହାଇେ ନ ଥାନ୍ତି।

ସେ ପାଉଲ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅନୁସରଣ କଲା ଓ ଜାରେ ରେ କହିଲା, ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସବେକ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତିର ପଥ ବିଷୟ ରେ କହୁଛନ୍ତି।

ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କ୍ରିଯା ସାଧନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ସବୁ ପ୍ରଗ୍ଭର କରିବାକୁ ମୁଁ ସୁଖ ବୋଧ କଲି।

ତତ୍ପ ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ରାଜା କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମସ୍ତ ଈଶ୍ବରଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ରାଜଗଣର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ଯେ ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷଯଗୁଡିକର ପ୍ରକାଶକୁ ଆଣନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଏହି ନିଗୂଢ କଥା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ଅଟ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 52:12

କିନ୍ତୁ ପାଉଲ ସୈନିକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବିନା ବିଚ଼ାର ରେ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ସାମନା ରେ ମାରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ରୋମୀୟ ନାଗରିକ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ କାରାଗାର ରେ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ରଖାଯାଇଛି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଗୋପନ ରେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦବୋପାଇଁ କହୁଛନ୍ତି? ଏହା ଆଦୌ ହାଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ନିଜେ ଆସି ବିଚ଼ାରକର୍ତ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ।

ଚିନ୍ତିତ ରାଜା ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ବିଳାପ ସ୍ବର ରେ ଡାକିଲା, ହେ ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସବେକ ଦାନିୟେଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସବୋ କରୁଅଛ, ସହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସିଂହମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଛନ୍ତି କି?
