ତେଣୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କାହିଁକି ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ କାନ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଆଳି ରଖି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରୁଛ? ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କିମ୍ବା ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନେ ତ ଏହି ୟୁଆଳି ଭାର ସହି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏବେ ସ୍ବାଧୀନ। ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ସ୍ବାଧୀନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଦୃଢ଼ ଭାବରେ ରହିଥାଅ। ପୁଣି ଥରେ ଦାସତ୍ବର ବନ୍ଧନ ନିକଟରେ ନିଜ ନିଜକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କର ନାହିଁ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 7:12
ମାତ୍ର ଆହସ କହିଲଲ, ମୁଁ ପ୍ରମାଣ ସ୍ବରୂପ ଚିହ୍ନ ମାଗିବି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ଚାସହଁ ନାହିଁ।'

ଏହା ଆଜି ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଉଦାହରଣ ସ୍ବରୂପ। ଏହା ସୂଚାଇ ଦିଏ ଯେ, ଯେଉଁ ଦାନ ଓ ବଳିଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରାଯାଏ, ତଦ୍ଦ୍ବାରା ଉପାସକ ପାପରୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଧୌତ ହାଇପୋ ରେ ନାହିଁ। ଉକ୍ତ ବଳି ହତେୁ ସେ ସିଦ୍ଧିଲାଭ କରିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପରିଚୟ ପାଇଅଛ। ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପରିଚୟ ପାଇଅଛ। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପାଳନ କରୁଥିବା ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଓ ଅଦରକାରୀ ନିୟମଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରତି କାହିଁକି ପୁଣି ଆକୃଷ୍ଟ ହେଉଛ ? ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ପୁଣି ଦାସ ହବୋକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର ?

ମୁଁ କହୁଛି ଯେ, ଯେପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଜଣେ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ଅବସ୍ଥା ରେ ଅଛି, ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିର ମାଲିକ ହାଇେଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ, ଜଣେ ଦାସଠାରୁ ବେଶି ଭିନ୍ନ ନୁହେଁ।
