ଯୋଶିୟଯ ଶମରିଯାର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀର ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ରେ ବଧ କଲେ ଓ ସେ ଉପରେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ଅସ୍ଥି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଉପରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କଲେ। ଏହି ରୂପେ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ପୂଜା ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରି ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଫରେିଗଲେ।

ଯଦି କହେି ଲୋକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିନା ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଦବେତାଙ୍କୁ ବଳିଦାନ ଉତ୍ସବ କରେ , ତବେେ ସେ ବର୍ଜ୍ଜନୀଯ ହାଇେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେ।
ଦିତୀୟ ରାଜାବଳୀ 10:25
ଯହେୂ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ହାମବେଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାର ସମାପ୍ତି ପରେ ସେ ପ୍ରହରୀ ଓ ସନୋପତିମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଭିତରକୁ ୟାଅ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ବାଲ୍ ପୂଜାରୀଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କର। କାହାରିକୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ବାହାରକୁ ଆସିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 13:2
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହେି ଲୋକ ଜଣକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବର ରେ କହିଲେ,
ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 18:40
ତା'ପରେ ଏଲିଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ବାଲ୍ର ସମସ୍ତ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଧର, କାହାରିକୁ ଛାଡ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଧରିଲେ। ତତ୍ପରେ ଏଲିଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କୀଶୋନ ନଦୀ ନିକଟକୁ ନଇେ ସଠାେରେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।
ଦିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 34:5
ଯୋଶିୟ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଉପରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ହାଡ଼କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଜ୍ବଳାଇଲେ। ଏହି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ଯୋଶିୟଯ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କଲେ।
ଦିତୀୟ ବିବରଣ 13:5
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ବା ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଦର୍ଶକକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରାଣ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍। କାରଣ ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଟି ମାରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ବିଦ୍ରୋହ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତାରିତ କଲା, ୟିଏକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶର ଦେଶରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ ଓ ଦାସତ୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତ କଲେ। ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଟି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛି। ଯାହା ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟସରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ଏହି ଉପାଯ ରେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ମଧିଅରେ ଥିବା କକ୍ସ୍ଟକର୍ମ ଦୂର କରିପାରିବ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 34:6
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରକ୍ତ ରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ଓ ମଦେ ରେ ଓ ଛାଗଗଣର ଗୁରୁଦାର ମଦେ ରେ ପୁଷ୍ଟ। କାରଣ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞ ଓ ଇଦୋମ ଦେଶ ରେ ଏକ ମହା ହତ୍ଯାକାଣ୍ଡ ହବେ।
ଯିଖରିୟ 13:2
ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ୍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦେଶରୁ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିଦବୋ। ଏପରିକି ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନାମକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଗଣ ଓ ଅପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଗୁଡିକୁ ପୃଥିବୀରୁ ବି ଲୋପ କରିବା।
