1 Kings 16:7
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବାଶା ଓ ତା'ର ପରିବାରର ବିପକ୍ଷ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ହନାନିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯହେୂଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଏକବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପଠାଇଲେ। ବାଶା ଘୃଣିତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଦ୍ବାରା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କୋର୍ଧିତ କଲେ। ୟାରବିଯାମର ପରିବାର ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଯାହା କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ଠିକ୍ ସଇେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମଧ୍ଯ କୋରଧିତ ଥିଲେ କାରଣ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ୟାରବିଯାମ ପରିବାରକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବାଶା ଓ ତା'ର ପରିବାରର ବିପକ୍ଷ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ହନାନିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯହେୂଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଏକବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପଠାଇଲେ। ବାଶା ଘୃଣିତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଦ୍ବାରା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କୋର୍ଧିତ କଲେ। ୟାରବିଯାମର ପରିବାର ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଯାହା କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ଠିକ୍ ସଇେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମଧ୍ଯ କୋରଧିତ ଥିଲେ କାରଣ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ୟାରବିଯାମ ପରିବାରକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।
