1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.ଏହାପରେ ମୁଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ନୂତନ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ଓ ନୂତନ ପୃଥିବୀ ଦେଖିଲି। ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ଓ ପ୍ରଥମ ପୃଥିବୀ ଅଦୃଶ୍ଯ ହାଇେ ଯାଇଥିଲା। ସଠାେରେ ଆଉ ସମୁଦ୍ର ନ ଥିଲା।

2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.ତା'ପରେ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ପବିତ୍ର ନଗରୀ ତଳକୁ ଆସିବାର ଦେଖିଲି। ଏହି ପବିତ୍ର ନଗରୀ ନୂତନ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ଅଟେ। ବର ପାଇଁ କନ୍ଯା ଯେପରି ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତା ହାଇେଥାଏ, ଠିକ୍ ସହେିପରି ଏହା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥିଲା।

3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.ମୁଁ ସିଂହାସନରୁ ଏକ ଉଚ୍ଚ ସ୍ବର ଶୁଣିଲି। ସହେି ସ୍ବର କହିଲା, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ଅଛି। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ରହିବେ। ସମାନେେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଲୋକ ହବେେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଜେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ରହିବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହବେେ।

4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଆଖିରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୁହ ପୋଛି ଦବେେ। ଆଉ ଅଧିକ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ, ବିଷାଦ, କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ ବା କଷ୍ଟ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ। ସବୁ ପୁରାତନ ବିଷୟ ଲୋପପାଇଛି।

5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."ସିଂହାସନ ଉପରେ ୟିଏ ବସିଥିଲେ, ସେ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ନୂତନ କରୁଅଛି। ତା'ପରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, ଏହା ଲେଖି ରଖ, କାରଣ ଏହି କଥାସବୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ଓ ସତ୍ଯ।

6 He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.ସିଂହାସନ ରେ ବସିଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, ଏହା ସମାପ୍ତ ହାଇଯୋଇଛି। ମୁଁ ହେଉଛି ପ୍ରଥମ ଓ ଶଷେ। ମୁଁ ତୃଷାର୍ତ୍ତ ଲୋକକୁ ବିନା ମୂଲ୍ଯ ରେ ଜୀବନ୍ତଜଳ ନିର୍ଝରରୁ ପାନ କରିବାକୁ ଦବେି।

7 He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.ଯେ ବିଜଯୀ ହବେ, ସେ ଏହିସବୁ ପାଇବ। ମୁଁ ତାହାର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହବେି ଓ ସେ ମାରେ ପୁତ୍ର ହବେ।

8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers,{The word for "sorcerers" here also includes users of potions and drugs.} idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଭୀରୁ, ଅବିଶ୍ବାସୀ, ଘୃଣାକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ, ନରହତ୍ଯା, ୟୌନଗତ ପାପ, ମନ୍ଦ କୁହୁକ କହନ୍ତି ଓ ପ୍ରତିମାପୂଜକ ଏବଂ ମିଥ୍ଯାବାଦୀ ସମାନେେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଓ ଗନ୍ଧକ ଜଳୁଥିବା ହ୍ରଦ ରେ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇବେ। ଏହା ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ।

9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb's bride."ତା'ପରେ ସାତଜଣ ର୍ସ୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ସାତାଟେି ଶଷେ କ୍ଲେଶର ସାତପାତ୍ର ଥିଲା, ସହେିମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣେ ମାେ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସହେି ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତ ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, ମାେ ସହିତ ଆସ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବଧୂକୁ ଦଖାଇବେି। ସେ ମଷେଶାବକଙ୍କର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ।

10 He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,ସେ ଦୂତ ମାେତେ ଆତ୍ମା ଦ୍ବାରା ଗୋଟିଏ ବହୁତ ବଡ଼ ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପର୍ବତକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ସେ ମାେତେ ପବିତ୍ର ନଗରୀ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ଦଖାଇେଲେ। ମୁଁ ସହେି ନଗରୀକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ଆସିବାର ଦେଖିଲି।

11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, as if it was a jasper stone, clear as crystal;ସହେି ନଗରୀ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଗୌରବ ରେ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳମୟ ଦଖାଯାେଉଥିଲା। ଏହା ମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ ମଣି, ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯକାନ୍ତ ପରି ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳ ହାଇେ ଝଲକୁଥିଲା। ଏହା ସ୍ଫଟିକ ପରି ସ୍ବଚ୍ଛ ଥିଲା।

12 having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.ନଗରୀର ଗୋଟିଏ ବଡ଼ ଉଚ୍ଚ କାନ୍ଥ ଥିଲା। ଏହାର ବାରଟି ପ୍ରବେଶଦ୍ବାରା ଥିଲା। ସହେି ଦ୍ବାରମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ବାରଟି ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତ ଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାର ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ବାରଟି ପରିବାରର ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦଳର ନାମ ଖାଦେିତ ଥିଲା।

13 On the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.ସଠାେରେ ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗ ରେ ତିନୋଟି ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାରା, ଉତ୍ତର ରେ ତିନୋଟି ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାର, ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ରେ ତିନୋଟି ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାର ଏବଂ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଦିଗ ରେ ତିନୋଟି ଦ୍ବାର ଥିଲା।

14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.ନଗରୀର କାନ୍ଥସବୁ ବାରଟି ମୂଳଦୁଆ ପଥର ଉପରେ ଥିଲା। ସହେି ପଥର ଉପରେ ମଷେଶାବକଙ୍କର ବାର ଜଣ ପ୍ ରରେିତଙ୍କର ନାମ ଲଖାଯାେଇଥିଲା।

15 He who spoke with me had for a measure, a golden reed, to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.ମାେ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଉଥିବା ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କ ହାତ ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ସୁନାର ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା। ସେ ନଗର, ଏହାର ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାର ଏବଂ ଏହାର କାନ୍ଥ ମାପ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହି ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ ନିଜ ହାତ ରେ ରଖିଥିଲେ।

16 The city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as its breadth. He measured the city with the reed, Twelve thousand twelve stadia{12,012 stadia = or 2,221 kilometers or 1,380 miles. TR reads 12,000 stadia instead of 12,012 stadia.}. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.ସହେି ନଗରୀଟି ଚାରିକଣିଆ ଥିଲା। ଏହାର ଲମ୍ବା ଓ ଚଉଡ଼ା ସମାନ। ସହେି ଦୂତ ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ ରେ ନଗରୀକୁ ମାପିଲେ। ନଗରୀର ଲମ୍ବା 12,000 ଷ୍ଟାଡ଼ିଆ, ଚଉଡ଼ା 12,000 ଷ୍ଟାଡ଼ିଆ ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚତା ମଧ୍ଯ 12,000 ଷ୍ଟାଡ଼ିଆ ଥିଲା।

17 Its wall is one hundred forty-four cubits,{144 cubits is about 65.8 meters or 216 feet} by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.ସେ ଦୂତ କାନ୍ଥର ଉଚ୍ଚତା ମଧ୍ଯ ମାପିଲେ ଏହା 144 ହାତ ହେଲା। ଦୂତ ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ବ୍ଯବହୃତ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ ରେ ମାପିଥିଲେ।

18 The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.ସହେି ନଗରୀର କାନ୍ଥ ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯକାନ୍ତମଣି ରେ ତିଆରି ହାଇେଥିଲା। ସହେି ନଗରୀ ସ୍ବଚ୍ଛକାଚ ପରି ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳ ଖାଣ୍ଟି ସୁନା ରେ ତିଆରି ହାଇେଥିଲା।

19 The foundations of the city's wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire{or, lapis lazuli}; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;ନଗରୀ କାନ୍ଥର ମୂଳଦୁଆ ପଥର ରେ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ମଣି ଖଚିତ ଥିଲା। ପ୍ରଥମ କୋଣ ପଥରଟି ହୀରକମଣି, ଦ୍ବିତୀୟଟି ନୀଳକାନ୍ତମଣି, ତୃତୀୟ ବୈଦୂର୍ୟ୍ଯମଣି, ଚତୁର୍ଥଟି ମରକତମଣି ଥିଲା।

20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; and the twelfth, amethyst.ପଞ୍ଚମ ରେ ପୁଲକମଣି, ଷଷ୍ଠ ମଣିକ୍ଯମଣି, ସପ୍ତମଟି ପୁଷ୍ପରାଗମଣି, ଅଷ୍ଟମ ରେ ଫିରୋଜମଣି, ନମମ ରେ ଗୋମଦେକମଣି, ଦଶମ ରେ ଲଶୁନୀୟମଣି, ଏକାଦଶ ରେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରନୀଳମଣି, ଓ ଦ୍ବାଦଶ ରେ ସୁଗନ୍ଧମଣି ଖଚିତ ଥିଲା।

21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.ବାରଟି ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାର ହେଉଛି ବାର ଗୋଟି ମୁକ୍ତ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାର ଗୋଟିଏ ଲଖାେ ମୁକ୍ତା ରେ ତିଆରି ହାଇେଥିଲା। ନଗରର ରାଜପଥ ନିର୍ମିତ କାଚପରି, ଖାଣ୍ଟି ସୁନା ରେ ତିଆରି ହାଇେଥିଲା।

22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.ମୁଁ ସହେି ନଗରୀ ଭିତ ରେ କୌଣସି ମନ୍ଦିର ଦେଖିଲି ନାହିଁ। ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ୍ ପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ମଷେଶାବକ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ସହେି ନଗରର ମନ୍ଦିର।

23 The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.ସହେି ନଗରୀକୁ ଆଲୋକ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ ବା ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରର ଆବଶ୍ଯକତା ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ମହିମା ନଗରୀକୁ ଆଲୋକ ଦିଏ। ମଷେଶାବକ ସହେି ନଗରୀର ପ୍ରଦୀପ ସ୍ବରୂପ।

24 The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.ନଗରୀର ଆଲୋକରେ ଜାତିସମୂହର ଲୋକମାନେ ଚାଲିବେ। ପୃଥିବୀର ରାଜାମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଐଶ୍ବର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଏହି ନଗରୀକୁ ଦବେେ।

25 Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),ସହେି ନଗରୀର ଦ୍ବାରଗୁଡ଼ିକ କୌଣସି ଦିନ ବନ୍ଦ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସଠାେରେ କବେେ ହେଲେ ରାତି ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.ସହେି ନଗରକୁ ଜାତିସମୂହର ଐଶ୍ବର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଓ ମହିମା ଅଣାୟିବ।

27 There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.କୌଣସି ଅଶୁଚି ଜିନିଷ ତା' ଭିତ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଲଜ୍ଜାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ଲୋକ ଓ ମିଥ୍ଯା କହିବା ଲୋକ ତା' ଭିତ ରେ ପଶିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ମଷେଶାବକଙ୍କ ଜୀବନପୁସ୍ତକରେ ନାମ ଲଖାେ ହାଇେଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ନଗରୀ ଭିତ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ।
