ଅମାଲେକ୍ ଓ ସୋର ନିବାସୀଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ନିଯମ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

ଆଉ ଶାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଯଲରେ କଥା ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧିଅରେ ପ୍ରଚଳିତ ହେଲା। ଏଲି ବୃଦ୍ଧ ହେଲେ, ତାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ କକ୍ସ୍ଟକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ଚାଲିଲେ।

ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, 'ଯେତବେେଳେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ, ଅମାଲକେୀଯମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କାନନେ ୟିବା ରେ ବାଧା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବେ। ମୁ ଦେଖିଛି ଯାହା ସବୁ ଅମାଲକେୀଯମାନେ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
ଆମୋଷ 1:9
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି: ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ସୋରର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ବହୁ ଅପରାଧ କରିଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ସମଗ୍ର ଜାତିକୁ ନଇଗେଲେଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ୍ରୀତଦାସ ରୂପେ ଇଦୋମକୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବନ୍ଧୁତ୍ବ ଚୁକ୍ତିକୁ ମନେ ପକାଇ ନଥିଲେ।
