ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ବହୁତ ନିରାଶ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ନିଜ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ସମର୍ପି ଦେଲେ।

| his people | לַחֶ֣רֶב | laḥereb | la-HEH-rev |
| sword; the unto also over | עַמּ֑וֹ | ʿammô | AH-moh |
| and was wroth | וּ֝בְנַחֲלָת֗וֹ | ûbĕnaḥălātô | OO-veh-na-huh-la-TOH |
| with his inheritance. | הִתְעַבָּֽר׃ | hitʿabbār | heet-ah-BAHR |
