ଗୀତସଂହିତା 62
1 ହଁ, ମାରେ ହୃଦଯ ଶାନ୍ତ ଭାବରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରେ। ମାରେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଲଗା।
2 ହଁ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାରେ ଶୈଳ ୟିଏ ମାେତେ ନିରାପଦ ରଖନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଉଚ୍ଚ ପର୍ବତରେ ଥିବା ମାରେ ଦୁର୍ଗ। ମୁଁ ଧ୍ବଂସରୁ ନିରାପଦ ରହିବି।
3 କେତକୋଳ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ ଓ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବ ? ମୁଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ନଇଁ ପଡ଼ିଥିବା କାନ୍ଥ ଓ ଟଳମଳ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ତୁଲ୍ଯ। ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପଦାଧିକାରୀ ତଥାପି ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେତେ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
4 ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ପଦବୀ ସଂପନ୍ନ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନେ ମାେତେ ତଳକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଯୋଜନା କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମାେ ବିଷଯରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କଥା କହି ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସର୍ବସାଧାରଣରେ ମାରେ ବିଷଯରେ ଭଲ କହନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
5 ହେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣ, ସତରେ ଶାନ୍ତ ଭାବରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କର। କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମାରେ ଆଶା ଆସେ।
6 ହଁ, ସତରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ମାରେ ଶୈଳ, ୟିଏକି ମାେତେ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ରଖନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଉଚ୍ଚତମ ପର୍ବତରେ ଥିବା ମାରେ ଦୁର୍ଗ। ମୁଁ ଧ୍ବଂସରୁ ନିରାପଦ ରହିବି।
7 ମାରେ ଗୌରବ ଓ ବିଜଯ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସେ। ସେ ମାରେ ଦୃଢ଼ ଦୁର୍ଗ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହିଁ ମାରେ ନିରାପଦ ସ୍ଥାନ।
8 ହେ ଲୋକମାନେ! ସବୁକାଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର କର। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅସୁବିଧା କଥା ଭାଙ୍ଗି କୁହ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭର ନିରାପଦ ଆଶ୍ରଯସ୍ଥଳ।
9 ପ୍ରକୃତରେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପରେ ଭରସା କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ନିକିତିରେ ଓଜନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଏକାଠି ପକାଇଲେ ପବନଠାରୁ ହାଲୁକା ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
10 ଦୌରତ୍ମ୍ଯରେ ଭରସା କର ନାହିଁ। ଚୋରି କରି ଲାଭ କରିବାର ଚିନ୍ତା କର ନାହିଁ, ଏବଂ ୟଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧନୀ ହେଲ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା କର ନାହିଁ।
11 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହା କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ଏକରୁ ବହୁତ ଥର ଶୁଣିଛି : ପରମେଶ୍ବର ବଳବାନ୍ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
12 ହେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରମେ ହିଁ ପ୍ରକୃତ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମନୁଷ୍ଯକୁ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଜର କର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ଫଳ ଦେଉଅଛ।

3 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
4 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
5 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
6 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
7 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
8 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
9 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
10 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
11 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
12 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
13 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

1 ହଁ, ମାରେ ହୃଦଯ ଶାନ୍ତ ଭାବରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରେ। ମାରେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଲଗା।

3 କେତକୋଳ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ ଓ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବ ? ମୁଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ନଇଁ ପଡ଼ିଥିବା କାନ୍ଥ ଓ ଟଳମଳ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ତୁଲ୍ଯ। ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପଦାଧିକାରୀ ତଥାପି ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେତେ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4 ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ପଦବୀ ସଂପନ୍ନ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନେ ମାେତେ ତଳକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଯୋଜନା କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମାେ ବିଷଯରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କଥା କହି ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସର୍ବସାଧାରଣରେ ମାରେ ବିଷଯରେ ଭଲ କହନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।

6 ହଁ, ସତରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ମାରେ ଶୈଳ, ୟିଏକି ମାେତେ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ରଖନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଉଚ୍ଚତମ ପର୍ବତରେ ଥିବା ମାରେ ଦୁର୍ଗ। ମୁଁ ଧ୍ବଂସରୁ ନିରାପଦ ରହିବି।

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 ହେ ଲୋକମାନେ! ସବୁକାଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର କର। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅସୁବିଧା କଥା ଭାଙ୍ଗି କୁହ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭର ନିରାପଦ ଆଶ୍ରଯସ୍ଥଳ।

9 ପ୍ରକୃତରେ, ଲୋକମାନେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପରେ ଭରସା କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ନିକିତିରେ ଓଜନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଏକାଠି ପକାଇଲେ ପବନଠାରୁ ହାଲୁକା ହୁଅନ୍ତି।

10 ଦୌରତ୍ମ୍ଯରେ ଭରସା କର ନାହିଁ। ଚୋରି କରି ଲାଭ କରିବାର ଚିନ୍ତା କର ନାହିଁ, ଏବଂ ୟଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧନୀ ହେଲ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା କର ନାହିଁ।
Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହା କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ଏକରୁ ବହୁତ ଥର ଶୁଣିଛି : ପରମେଶ୍ବର ବଳବାନ୍ ଅଟନ୍ତି।
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
12 ହେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରମେ ହିଁ ପ୍ରକୃତ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମନୁଷ୍ଯକୁ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଜର କର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ଫଳ ଦେଉଅଛ।
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
