ଗୀତସଂହିତା 5

1 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ। ବୁଝିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କ'ଣ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛି।

2 ହେ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ରାଜା ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ।

3 ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ସକାଳେ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ରବ ଶୁଣିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯରେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ସଜାଏ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ସକାଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ।

4 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ପସନ୍ଦ କର ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସହ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ସମ୍ପର୍କ ନାହିଁ।

5 ଗର୍ବୀମାନେ କବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଘୃଣା କର।

6 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିବାକୁ ଗୋପନ ଷଡ଼ୟନ୍ତ୍ର କରନ୍ତି।

7 କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅସୀମ କରୁଣା ୟୋଗୁ। ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବି। ମୁଁ ନତମସ୍ତକରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୟ ଭକ୍ତି ଓ ସମ୍ମାନର ସହିତ ଉପାସନା କରିବି।

8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ ପଥରେ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କର। ଲୋକମାନେ ମାରେ ଦୁର୍ବଳତାକୁ ଚାହିଁ ବସିଛନ୍ତି। ତଣେୁ ମାେତେ ଉଚିତ ମାର୍ଗ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରି ଧର୍ମ ପଥରେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅ। ମାରେ ପଥକୁ ସରଳ କର।

9 ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ କବେେ ସତ୍ଯ କଥା କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ସବୁ ମିଥ୍ଯାବାଦୀ, ସତ୍ଯକୁ ଗୋପନ ରଖନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାଟି ଏକ କବର ସ୍ବରୂପ। ସମାନେେ ଅନାବୃତ ମଧୁର କଥା କହି ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବିପଥଗାମୀ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ହେଲା ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଫାନ୍ଦରେ ପକାଇବା।

10 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦିଅ। ସମାନେେ ବାନ୍ଧିଥିବା ଫାଶରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପକାଇ ଦିଅ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧାଚରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ତଣେୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅନକେ ଅପରାଧ ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଶାସ୍ତି ବିଧାନ କର।

11 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରଖନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ସୁଖରେ ରୁହନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଚିରଦିନ ପାଇଁ ସୁଖରେ ରୁହନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କର।

12 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ ପ୍ରଦାନ କର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିରାଟ ଢ଼ାଲ ସଦୃଶ ସମସ୍ତ କୁକାର୍ୟ୍ଯରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର।

2 ହେ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ରାଜା ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ।

2 Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.

3 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

4 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

5 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

6 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

7 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

8 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

9 Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

10 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

11 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

12 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

13 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

1 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ। ବୁଝିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କ'ଣ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛି।
Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.

2 ହେ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ରାଜା ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ।

3 ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ସକାଳେ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ରବ ଶୁଣିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯରେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ସଜାଏ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ସକାଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ।

4 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ପସନ୍ଦ କର ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସହ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ସମ୍ପର୍କ ନାହିଁ।
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 ଗର୍ବୀମାନେ କବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଘୃଣା କର।
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମିଥ୍ଯା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିବାକୁ ଗୋପନ ଷଡ଼ୟନ୍ତ୍ର କରନ୍ତି।
Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

7 କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅସୀମ କରୁଣା ୟୋଗୁ। ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବି। ମୁଁ ନତମସ୍ତକରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୟ ଭକ୍ତି ଓ ସମ୍ମାନର ସହିତ ଉପାସନା କରିବି।
But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
