ଗୀତସଂହିତା 23

1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରତିପାଳକ ଅଟନ୍ତି, ମାରେ କିଛି ଅଭାବ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

2 ସେ ମାେତେ କୋମଳ ସବୁଜ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଶାଇେବାକୁ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସେ ମାେତେ ସ୍ଥିର ଜଳପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପୁଷ୍କରିଣୀ ପାଖେ ପାଖେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି।

3 ସେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣରେ ନୂତନ ବଳ ସଞ୍ଚାର କରନ୍ତି। ସେ ମାେତେ ଧର୍ମପଥରେ କଢ଼ାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି। ଏହାଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରମାଣିତ ହୁଏ ୟେ, ସେ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟନ୍ତି।

4 ୟଦିଓ ମୁଁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଛାଯାର ରୂପ ଉପତ୍ୟକାରେ ଏକା ବାଟ ଚାଲେ, ୟାହାକି ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ତଥାପି ମୁଁ କୌଣସି ବିପଦ ଯୋଗୁ ଭୟଭୀତ ହବେି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ସହିତ ଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଶାବାଡ଼ି ଓ ପାଞ୍ଚଣ ବାଡ଼ି ମାେତ ସୁରକ୍ଷା କରେ।

5 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମାରେ ମଜେ ସଜାଇଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ତଲେ ଢ଼ାଳିଛ। ମାେ ପାନପାତ୍ର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାଇେ ଉଚ୍ଛୁଳି ପଡ଼ିଛି।

6 ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ଧାର୍ମିକତା, ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଓ ଦୟା ମାରେ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଜୀବନର ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ଗାମୀ ହବେ। ମୁଁ ଶଷେରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ସବୁଦିନ ପାଇଁ ବାସ କରିବି।

2 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

3 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

4 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

5 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

6 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

7 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
