ଗୀତସଂହିତା 14

1 ଏକ ମୂର୍ଖ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ହୃଦଯରେ କ ହେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ସହେି ମୂର୍ଖମାନେ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଘୃଣା ୟୋଗ୍ଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଥିବା ଲୋକ କହେି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

2 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ଥାଇ ତଳକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରି ଦେଖନ୍ତି ୟ ୟଦି କହେି ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକ ତାଙ୍କ ଅନୁରକ୍ତ ଅଛନ୍ତି ନା ନାହିଁ। ବିଜ୍ଞ ଲୋକମାନେ ସର୍ବଦା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସହାୟତା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି।

3 କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମଣିଷ ଆଜି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂରଇେ ୟାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସବୁ ମଣିଷ ଆଜି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ମଣିଷରେ ପରିଣତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଜଣେ ବି କହେି ଆଜି ଭଲ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

4 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାରେ ଅନକେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହାଇେ ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

5 ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିରୀହ ଲୋକର ଉପଦେଶକୁ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି କାହିଁକି ?

6 କାରଣ ସହେି ନିରୀହ ଲୋକଟି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସର୍ବଦା ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି। ତଣେୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।

7 ମୁଁ ଆଶାକରେ କହେି ଜଣେ ତାଙ୍କର ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ସିଯୋନ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକୁ ଆସନ୍ତା ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତା। ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ କରନ୍ତି, ତା ହେଲେ ୟାକୁବ ଆହ୍ଲାଦିତ ହବେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବହୁତ ଖୁସି ହବେ।

2 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

3 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

4 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

5 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.

6 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

7 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.

8 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

1 ଏକ ମୂର୍ଖ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ହୃଦଯରେ କ ହେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ସହେି ମୂର୍ଖମାନେ ଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଘୃଣା ୟୋଗ୍ଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଥିବା ଲୋକ କହେି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

3 କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମଣିଷ ଆଜି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂରଇେ ୟାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସବୁ ମଣିଷ ଆଜି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ମଣିଷରେ ପରିଣତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଜଣେ ବି କହେି ଆଜି ଭଲ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

4 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାରେ ଅନକେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହାଇେ ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.

5 ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିରୀହ ଲୋକର ଉପଦେଶକୁ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି କାହିଁକି ?
There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

6 କାରଣ ସହେି ନିରୀହ ଲୋକଟି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସର୍ବଦା ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି। ତଣେୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.
