ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲେ ୟେ, ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶରେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ୍ ବଂଶଧରଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବେ। ସହେି ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଛତ୍ର କଲେ।

| their seed | זַ֭רְעָם | zarʿom | ZAHR-ome |
| nations, the among also | בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם | baggôyim | ba-ɡoh-YEEM |
| and to scatter | וּ֝לְזָרוֹתָ֗ם | ûlĕzārôtām | OO-leh-za-roh-TAHM |
