ଗୀତସଂହିତା 1
1 ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ, ୟଦି ସେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଉପଦେଶ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ପାପୀମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଜୀବନ ୟାପନ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦଖାେନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତା'ର ସମୟ କଟାଏ ନାହିଁ,
2 ଉତ୍ତମ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ ଓ ଦିନ ରାତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଧ୍ଯାନ କରୁଥାଏ।
3 ତଣେୁ ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଅଧିକ ବଳଶାଳୀ ହୁଏ, ପ୍ରଚୁର ପାଣି ପାଉଥିବା ତୁଷର ସ୍ଥିତି ପରି। ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଠିକ୍ ସମଯରେ ଫଳ ଦେଉଥିବା ଗୋଟିଏ ବୃକ୍ଷପରି ଅଟେ। ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସହେି ବୃକ୍ଷ ପରି ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ, ୟାହାର ପତ୍ର କବେେ ହେଲେ ଶୁଖିୟାଏ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ୟାହା କରେ, ତହିଁରେ କୃତକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ହୁଏ।
4 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସପରେି ନୁହଁନ୍ତି। ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ କବଳେ ଚୋପା' ବା ତୁଷ' ଭଳି ୟାହାକୁ କି ସହଜରେ ପବନ ଉଡ଼ାଇ ନଇେପାରେ।
5 ୟଦି ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇେ କୌଣସି ମକଦ୍ଦମା ଫଇସଲା କରିବାକୁ ଯିବେ, ତାହା ହେଲେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସହଜରେ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହାଇଯେିବେ। ସହେି ପାପୀମାନେ କବେେ ହେଲେ ନିରପରାଧୀ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରମାଣିତ ହାଇପୋରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
6 କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କବଳେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରନ୍ତି।
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

1 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
