ତହୁଁ ମାୟୋବର ଓ ମିଦିଯନର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗ ଉପହାର ନଇେ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ବିଲିଯମ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହାଇେ ବାଲାକ ଯାହା କହିଥିଲେ ତାହା କହିଲେ।

ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ବିଗ୍ଭରପତିଗଣ ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନଇେ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରନ୍ତି। ଆଉ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନର ଯାଜକଗଣ ଅର୍ଥ ନଇେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଗଣ ଭବିଷ୍ଯବାଣୀ ପାଇଁ ଅର୍ଥ ନିଅନ୍ତି। ତଥାପି ସେ ସ୍ଥାନର ବୃଦ୍ଧଗଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଆଶା କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ କୁହନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏଠା ରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ କୌଣସି ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ।

ତା'ପରେ ଶାଉଲ ଗ୍ଭକରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ସହରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବା, କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ କ'ଣ ଉପହାର ଦବୋ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଏପରିକି ଆମ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଣାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ସରିଗଲାଣି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାର କ'ଣ ଦବୋ।

ଏହା ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଖରାପ ଅଟେ। ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ କଯିନର ପଥ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଅର୍ଥ ଲୋଭ ସକାେଶ ବିଲିୟମ ପରି ଅନ୍ଯାୟ ପଥ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ କୋରହ ପରି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆଚରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। କୋରହ ପରି ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେେ।

ଏହି ଭଣ୍ଡ ଶିକ୍ଷକମାନେ ଉତ୍ତମ ପଥ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି ଓ ବିଯୋରର ପୁତ୍ର ବିଲିଯାମର ଭୁଲ ମାର୍ଗ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ମନ୍ଦ କାମ କରି ଧନ ପାଇବାକୁ ଭଲ ପାଉଥିଲା।

ଜଣେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଭୁଲ ବିଷୟ ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଇବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ ଥିବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଏପରି ଅବାନ୍ତର କଥା କହିବାରୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରାଇପାରୁଥିବେ। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ କୁଶିକ୍ଷାର ଉପଦେଶ ଦଇେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପରିବାରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ କବଳେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଠକିବା ପାଇଁ ଏଭଳି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଧନ ଅର୍ଜନ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି।

ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଧନୀ ହବୋକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରଲୋଭନ ଫାନ୍ଦ ରେ ପଡ଼ି ଯାଆନ୍ତି। ଅନକେ ମୂର୍ଖତାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଦୁଃଖ ଦେଉଥିବା ବିଷୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଇଁ ସମାନେେ ଇଚ୍ଛା ପୋଷଣ କରନ୍ତି। ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରି ତଳିତଳାନ୍ତ କରିଦିଏ।

ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଦୂର ରେ ରୁହ। ଏଭଳି ଲୋକେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ସବୋ ନକରି କବଳେ ନିଜ ସୁଖ ରେ ମାତି ଥାନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଆକର୍ଷଣୀୟ ଓ ସୁନ୍ଦର କଥା କହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୋକା କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ ମନ୍ଦ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଜାଣି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଭୁଲାନ୍ତି।
ଯିହିଜିକଲ 13:19
ମୁଠାଏ ବାଲି ପାଇଁ ଓ କେତେଖଣ୍ଡ ରୋଟୀ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ମାେତେ ଅପମାନିତ କଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ମିଥ୍ଯା ପାଇଁ ମାରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଶୁଣିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଛ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ମରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନ ଥିଲା ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦଇେଛ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ମରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ଥିଲା।

କୈଣସି ଶକ୍ତି ୟାବୁକ ବଂଶକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ କିମ୍ବା କୌଣସି ମନ୍ତ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏହି କ୍ଷଣି ଯାକୁବ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବିଷଯ ରେ କୁହାୟିବ; 'ପରମେଶ୍ବର କି କର୍ମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।'
