କେତକେ ଫାରୂଶୀ ଓ କେତକେ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ୟିରୁଶାଲମରୁ ଆସି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଚାରିପଟେ ରୁଣ୍ତ ହାଇଗେଲେ।

ଦିନେ ଯୀଶୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ସଠାେରେ ଫାରୂଶୀ ଓ ଯିହୂଦୀ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବସିଥଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଗାଲିଲୀର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ନଗରରୁ, ୟିହୂଦା ତଥା ୟିରୁଶାଲମରୁ ଆସିଥି ରେ। ପ୍ରଭୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରି ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଶକ୍ତି ଦେଉଥିଲେ।

ଯୀଶୁ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ଛାଡି ଚାଲି ଯାଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଅନକେ କଷ୍ଟ ଦବୋ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଦେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଅନକେ ବିଷୟ ରେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନମାନ ପଚାରି ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଚାହୁଁଥିଲେ।
