ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଉଭୟ ସ୍ବାମୀ ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଶରୀର ଓ ଆତ୍ମା ରେ ଏକ ହବୋ ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଧର୍ମପରାଯଣ ସନ୍ତାନ ସନ୍ତତି ଗ୍ଭହାଁନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ନିଜକୁ ଜଗ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରତି ଅବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, ଯାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ୟୁବାବସ୍ଥା ରେ ବିବାହ କରିଛ।

spake	יְהוָ֖ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
unto	אֵלַ֥י	ʾēlay	ay-LAI
me, saying,	לֵאמֹֽר׃	lēʾmōr	lay-MORE

And did not	וְלֹא	wĕlōʾ	veh-LOH
he make	אֶחָ֣ד	ʾeḥād	eh-HAHD
one?	עָשָׂ֗ה	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
