Luke 8:49
ସେ ଠିକ୍ ଏହି କଥା କହୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ସମାଜଗୃହର ନେତା ଯାଈରସଙ୍କ ଘରୁ ଜଣେ ଆସି କହିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଝିଅ ମରିଗଲା। ଆଉ ଏବେ ଗୁରୁଙ୍କୁ କଷ୍ଟ ଦିଅନାହିଁ।

ମାତ୍ର ଆହସ କହିଲଲ, ମୁଁ ପ୍ରମାଣ ସ୍ବରୂପ ଚିହ୍ନ ମାଗିବି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ଚାସହଁ ନାହିଁ।'
