ତା'ପରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବାମୀ ମରିଗଲେ ଓ ସେ ବିଧବା ହାଇେ ଏକୁଟିଆ ରହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ଏବେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚଉରାଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ ହାଇେଥିଲା। ହାନ୍ନା ସବୁବେଳେ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ରହୁଥିଲେ। କବେେ ହେଲେ ସେ ମନ୍ଦିର ଛାଡି ଯାଇ ନଥିଲେ। ସେ ଉପବାସ କରି ଓ ସେ ଦିନରାତି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା କରୁଥିଲେ।
