ତା'ପରେ କିଛି ମର୍ଦ୍ଦିତ ଶସ୍ଯ, କିଛି ତୈଳ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋବାନି ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ମରାଣାର୍ଥକ ଅଂଶ ରୂପେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବ। ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଗୋଟିଏ ଉପହାର ଅଟେ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସବେକ କୁହନ୍ତି, ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ମାଠାେ ରେ ଅଧିଷ୍ଠାନ କରନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ନମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସୁସମାଚାର ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଭଗ୍ନାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କ୍ଷତ ବାନ୍ଧିବାକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ଦବୋକୁ ଓ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କାରାମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମାେତେ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ଆତ୍ମା ମଧ୍ଯ ଆମକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅତି ଦୁର୍ବଳ କିନ୍ତୁ ଆତ୍ମା ଆମ୍ଭର ଦୁର୍ବଳତା ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। କଣ ଓ କିପରି ପାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ନାହୁଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆତ୍ମା ନିଜ ତରଫରୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ପାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି। ଆତ୍ମା ଆମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବଙ୍କ ଠା ରେ ନିବଦନେ କରନ୍ତି। ଆତ୍ମା ଯେତେ ଗଭୀର ଭାବନା ସହିତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ କୁହନ୍ତି ତାହା ଶବ୍ଦ ରେ ବର୍ଣନା କରା ଯାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଜଗତ ରେ ଥିଲା ବେଳେ ଯେ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ, ସହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଆକୁଳ ଭାବରେ ଅଶ୍ରୁପାତ ସହ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଓ ବିନତି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ଯେ ହତେୁ ଯୀଶୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସା ରେ କାମ କରୁଥିଲେ ଓ ନମ୍ର ଥିଲେ, ତେଣୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯୁତ୍ତର ଦଇେଥିଲେ।

ଆଉ କହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଶସ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଆଣିଲେ, ତାହା ଅତି ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ମଇଦା ରେ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ହବେ। ପୁଣି ସେଥି ରେ ସେ ତୈଳ ଢାଳିବ ଓ ତା'ଉପରେ ଲୋବାନି ରଖିବ।

ଆଉ ଯଦି କହେି ତୁନ୍ଦୁର ରେ ପକ୍ବ କରି ଶସ୍ଯ-ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଦିଏ, ତବେେ ତାହା ତାଡିଶୁନ୍ଯ ରୋଟୀ ଓ ତୈଳର ଛଣା ୟାଇଥିବା ସରୁ ମଇଦାର ପିଠା କିମ୍ବା ତୈଳାକ୍ତ ସରୁଚକୁଳୀ ହବେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ଫଳର ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ରୂପେ ତାଡି କି ମଧୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିପାର, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ମଧୁର ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଉପହାର ହବେ। ଏହାକୁ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଉପରକୁ ନିଆ ୟାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜଳୁଥିବା ଧୂପକାଠିର ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଧୂପ ପରି ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର। ସନ୍ଧ୍ଯା ବଳରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରି ମୁଁ ମାରେ ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଇ କରୁଥିବା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର।
