ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କୋପ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପଡିଲା। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଅରାମ ନହରଯିମର ରାଜା କୂଶନରିଶିଯାଥଯିମର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରାସ୍ତ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀମାନେ ଆଠବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତାଙ୍କର ସବୋ କଲେ।

ମୁଁ ଦେଖିଲି କୂଶନର ନଗରଗୁଡିକ ଅସୁବିଧା ରେ ଥିଲେ। ମିଦିଯନର ଗୃହଗୁଡିକ ଭୟ ରେ ଥରିଲେ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି, ହେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଭାବୁଛ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମାତା ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଅଛୁ। ପ୍ରମାଣ ସ୍ବରୂପ ସେ ଛାଡ଼ପତ୍ର କାହିଁ ଅଥବା ଆମ୍ଭ ମହାଜନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କାହା ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିକ୍ରଯ କରିଅଛୁ ? ଏଠା ରେ ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜର ଅପରାଧ ପାଇଁ ବିକ୍ରୀ ହାଇେଥିଲ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମାତା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ଯକ୍ତା ହାଇେଥିଲେ।

ଆପଣା ସମସ୍ତ କୋର୍ଧରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହୁଅ। ଆପଣା କୋର୍ଧରେ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
ଗୀତସଂହିତା 6:1
ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୋର୍ଧିତ ହାଇେ ମାେତେ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ କର ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିରକ୍ତ ହାଇେ ମାେତେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।

ବିଚାରକର୍ତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିବରଣ 4:9
ତେଣୁ ସେ କହିଲେ, ମୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ୟିବି। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଥ ଗୌରବ ଆଡକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକ ଦ୍ବାରା ସୀଷରୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବେ।

ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କ୍ଷକ୍ସ୍ଟବ୍ଧ ହେଲେ। ଏବଂ ସେ କହିଲେ, ମୁ ଯେଉଁ ନିଯମ ତାଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ସହିତ କରିଥିଲି, ଏହା ଜାତି ତାହା ଉଲଙ୍ଘନ କରିଛି। ସମାନେେ ମାରେ କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

ଜଣେ ଲୋକ କ'ଣ ହଜାରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ପାରିବ? ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଜଣ ଲୋକ କ'ଣ ଦଶହଜାର ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘଉଡାଇ ଦଇପୋରିବେ? ତାହା ଘଟିବ କବଳେ ଯଦି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରନ୍ତି।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କ୍ଷମା କରିବାକୁ ସମ୍ମତ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ତତ୍କ୍ଷଣାତ ସହେି ଲୋକପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କୋରଧ ଓ ଅନ୍ତଜର୍ବାଳା ସଧୂମ ହାଇେ ଉଠିବ।

ଏବଂ ଏଥି ରେ ଅଧିକ କୋରଧିତ ହବେି। ମୁଁ ତାକୁ ଏକ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବି। ଏହାପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବିଧବା ହବେ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପିଲାମାନେ ଅନାଥ ହବେେ।
