ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଜଣ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଗଚରଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଡାକି କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେ ବେଶ୍ଯା ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଅ ଓ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣ ଏବଂ ତାହା ସହିତ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ଯ ବାହାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣ। ଏହିପରି କର କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଏହିପରି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛ।

ମାତ୍ର ନଗର ଓ ତନ୍ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ବସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗିତ ହବେ। କବଳେ ବ୍ଯଭୀଗ୍ଭରଣୀ ରାହବ, ସହେି ଗୃହ ରେ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଜୀବିତ ରହିବେ। କାରଣ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଗଚରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଗ୍ଭଇ ରଖିଥିଲା।
ଯିହିଜିକଲ 17:18
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସେ ଚୁକ୍ତି ଭଙ୍ଗ କରି ଶପଥ ତୁଚ୍ଛ କରିଅଛି। ସେ ଏସବୁ କରିଅଛି ଏବଂ ଦଣ୍ଡରୁ ପଳାଇ ୟାଇପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ଗିବିଯୋନୀଯମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ନ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଇ ମାରେୀଯ ବଂଶଧର ଥିଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ ସମାନେେ ଗିବିଯୋନୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଶାଉଲ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗୀ ହାଇେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିଥିଲେ।
ଯିହୋଶୂୟ 9:18
କିନ୍ତୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ସହେିସବୁ ନଗର ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ରାଜି ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ନତେୃବର୍ଗ, ଏପରି ନ କରିବାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲେ
ଯିହୋଶୂୟ 9:15
ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଶାନ୍ତିଚକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତି ପାଇଁ ରାଜି ହାଇଗେଲେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଜୀବିତ ରଖିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରାଜି ହେଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ନତେୃବର୍ଗଗଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିକଟରେ ଶପଥ କଲେ।
ଯିହୋଶୂୟ 2:1
ନୂନର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଆକାସିଆ ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଜଣ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ୍ଗଚରଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇଲେ, କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଏକଥା ଜାଣି ନ ଥିଲେ, ସେ ଏମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗୋପନ ରେ ପଠାଇ ଥିଲେ। ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ଜଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ୟାଅ ବିଶଷେତଃ ଯିରୀହାେ ନଗର ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କର।
