ଏହାପରେ ହାରାମାଥୀଯାର ଯୋଷଫେ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ପୀଲାତଙ୍କୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଶରୀରଟି ମାଗିଲେ। ଯୋଷଫେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଶିଷ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାହା କହିଲେ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରୁଥିଲେ। ପୀଲାତ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଶରୀର ନବୋପାଇଁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଯୋଷଫେ ଆସି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଶରୀର ନଇଗେଲେ।
