ଊଷ୍ ଦେଶ ରେ ଆୟୁବ ନାମ ରେ ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ବାସ କରୁଥିଲା। ଆୟୁବ ଜଣେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଥିଲା। ଆୟୁବ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା କରିବା ବ୍ଯତୀତ ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯରୁ ବିରତ ରହୁଥିଲା।
