Jeremiah 40:11
ଯିହୁଦାର ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଲୋକ ମାୟୋବ, ଅମ୍ମାନେ, ଇଦୋମ ଓ ଅନ୍ଯାନ୍ଯ ସବୁ ଦେଶ ରେ ଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଯେ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ଯିହୁଦା ଏକ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅଂଶ ଲୋକ ରଖିଅଛି ଓ ଶାଫନର ପୌତ୍ର, ଅହୀକାମର ପୁତ୍ର ଗଦଲିଯକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଶାସନ କରିବାକୁ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛି।

ମାୟୋବର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଘରୁ ଜାରେ କରି ତଡ଼ି ଦିଆ ୟାଇଛି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେଶ ରେ ବାସ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଶତ୍ରୁଠାରୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖ। କାରଣ ଲୁଣ୍ଠନ ବନ୍ଦ ହବେ। ଶତ୍ରୁ ପରାଜିତ ହବେେ। ଆଘାତ କାରୀମାନେ ଦେଶରୁ ବିଦାଯ ନବେେ।
ଓବଦିୟ 1:11
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମିଶିଲ। ଅଜଣା ଲୋକ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଧନ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅଧିକାର କଲେ। ବିଦେଶୀ ମାନେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ନଗରଦ୍ବାର ଦଇେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ। ସହେି ବିଦେଶୀମାନେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର କେଉଁ ଅଂଶ ପାଇବେ ବୋଲି ବହୁ ପଥର ଫିଙ୍ଗିଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣେ ହେଲ।
ଯିହିଜିକଲ 35:15
ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରିବାର ଧ୍ବଂସ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିଥିଲ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସହେି ଭାବରେ ସବୋ କରିବି। ସଯେୀର ପର୍ବତ ଓ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ସମଗ୍ର ଇଦୋମ, ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେ। ତାହା ହେଲେ ସମାନେେ ଜାଣିବେ ଯେ, ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟେ।
ଯିହିଜିକଲ 35:5
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚିରନ୍ତନ ଶତ୍ରୁତା ଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିନ, ସମୟରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ହତ୍ଯା କର, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦୋଷ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ହେଲା।'

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଛନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ଇଦୋମ ଯିହୁଦା ଉପ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ନଇେଛି ଏବଂ ତାହା କରି ଦୋଷୀ ହାଇେଛି।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ମାୟୋବ ଓ ସଯେୀର କହୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ' ଦେଖ ଯିହୁଦା ପରିବାର ଅନ୍ୟ ସକଳ ଜାତିମାନଙ୍କ ତୁଳ୍ଯ।'

କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଛନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଦେଶର ଦୁର୍ଭାଗ୍ଯ ସମୟରେ କରତାଳି ଦଇେଅଛ, ପଦାଘାତ କରିଅଛ ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକୁ ଘୃଣାକରି ଆନନ୍ଦ ଅନୁଭବ କରିଅଛ।

ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅମ୍ ନୋନ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼େ ଚାହଁ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଭବଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କର।
ଯିହିଜିକଲ 5:12
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଏକ ତୃତୀଯାଂଶ ମହାମାରୀ ରେ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ରେ ନଗର ମଧିଅରେ ମରିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଏକ ତୃତୀଯାଂଶ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ନଗର ବାହା ରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବେ ; ଆଉ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଏକ ତୃତୀଯାଂଶ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ ହବେେ। ଯେ ହତେୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ନଇେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବା।

ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଳ୍ପ ପରିମାଣର କେଶ ନଇେ ଆପଣା ବସ୍ତ୍ରାଞ୍ଚଳ ରେ ବାନ୍ଧିବ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 24:9
ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପ ରେ ଏମିତି ବିପର୍ୟ୍ଯଯ ଆଣିବି ଯେ ପୃଥିବୀର ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଆତଙ୍କିତ ହବେେ। ସମସ୍ତେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦୁର୍ନାମ ଓ ଉପହାସ କରିବେ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ କରିବା, ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନର ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦବେେ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 12:12
ତା'ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିଲ ଅମ୍ମାନରେ ରାଜା ନାହଶ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଲ, 'ନା! ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜଣେ ରାଜା ଗ୍ଭହକ୍ସ୍ଟଁ' ଯଦିଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 11:1
ପ୍ରାଯ ଏକମାସ ପରେ ଅେମ୍ମାନୀୟ ନାହଶ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ସନୋ ୟାବେଶ ଗିଲିଯଦ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ୟାବେଶର ଲୋକ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ନିଯମ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତନ କର, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ପାଳନ କରିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ।

ଅନନ୍ତର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ଶିଟୀମ ରେ ବାସ କଲେ। ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ମାୟୋବର କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର ପାପରେ ମାତି ରହିଲେ।

ତା'ପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ମାୟୋବର ୟର୍ବ୍ଦନର ସମତଳ ଭୂମିକୁ ୟାତ୍ରା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ୟର୍ବ୍ଦନ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଯିରୀହାଠାେ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ।

ଏଷୌ ମଧ୍ଯ ଇଦୋମ ନାମ ରେ ଡ଼କା ଯାଉଥିଲା। ଏବଂ ଏହିନାମ ସଯେୀର ରେ ରହିଲା।
