ତହୁଁ ସଦିକିଯ ରାଜା ଗୋପନ ରେ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଶପଥ କରି କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଏହି ଜୀବାତ୍ମାର ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ଶପଥ କରି କହୁଛି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବଧ କରିବି ନାହିଁ କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଣନାଶକାରୀ ଏହି ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବି ନାହିଁ।
