ଯିଶାଇୟ 47:1-5

1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.

2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.

3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

4 As for our redeemer, the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

5 Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.

1 ଆଗୋ ବାବିଲର ଅନୁଢ଼ା କନ୍ଯ, ତଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସି ଧୂଳି ରେ ବସ ; ଆଗୋ କଲଦୀଯର କନ୍ଯ, ସିଂହାସନ ଛାଡ଼ି ଭୂମିରେ ବସ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଉ କୋମଳ ଓ କୁଆଁରୀକନ୍ଯା ବୋଲି ଖ୍ଯାତ ହାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।

2 ପଷେଣା ପଥର ରେ ଶସ୍ଯ ପଷେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଓଢ଼ଣି କାଢ଼, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜାମା କାଢ଼ି ପକାଅ, ପାଦ ଅନାବୃତ କର। ନଦୀ ଓ େଛାଟ ନଦୀ ରେ ଚାଲିକରି ୟାଅ।

3 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲଜ୍ଜାର ବିଷଯ ଦୃଶ୍ଯ ହବେ ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ନଲୋ ବେଳେ କହେି ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସିବେ ନାହିଁ।

4 ମାରେ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମୁକ୍ତିଦାତା ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ବରୂପ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ନାମ।

5 ଆଗୋ କଲଦୀଯ କନ୍ଯାଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନ୍ଧାରକୁ ୟାଇ ନୀରବ ରେ ବସ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ 'ରାଜ୍ଯର ଆଉ ରାଣୀ' ବୋଲି କଥିତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
