ହୋଶେୟ 5:8-14

8 Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Beth-aven, after thee, O Benjamin.

9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.

10 The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.

11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

12 Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.

14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

8 ଗିବିଯା ରେ ଶିଙ୍ଗା ବଜାଅ। ରାମା ରେ ତୂରୀ ବଜାଅ। ବୈଥ-ଆବନ ରେ ସତର୍କ କରିଦିଅ। ହେ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଛ ରେ ଶତୃଗଣ ଅଛନ୍ତି।

9 ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ ସମୟରେ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ ସର୍ବହରା ହାଇଯେିବ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରିବାରମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତର୍କ କରି ଦେଉଛୁ ଯେ ସେସବୁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଘଟିବ।

10 ଯିହୁଦାର ନତେୃବୃନ୍ଦ ଗ୍ଭରପରେି ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଗ୍ଭରେି କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭର କୋରଧକୁ ଜଳ ସଦୃଶ ଢାଳି ଦବୋ।

11 ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ ଦଣ୍ତିତ ହବେ। ସେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ପରି ଦଳି ଚକଟି ହାଇଯେିବ। କାହିଁକି? କାରଣ ସେ କଳୁଷିତ ପଛ ରେ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଛି।

12 କୀଟ ବସ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କଲାପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦାକୁ ସଢାଇ ଦବୋ।
Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

13 ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ ତା'ର ପୀଡିତାବସ୍ଥା ଦେଖିଲା ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ତା'ର କ୍ଷତକୁ ଦେଖିଲା। ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ ଅଶୂରକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଗଲା। ସମାନେେ ସହେି ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସମସ୍ଯା ଜଣାଇଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ରାଜା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଅସମର୍ଥ, ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କ୍ଷତଗୁଡିକୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

14 କାହିଁକି ସେ ଏହା ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ? କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସିଂହ ସଦୃଶ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବା। ୟୁବାସିଂହ ସଦୃଶ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବା। ହଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖଣ୍ତ ଖଣ୍ତ କରି ଚିରିଦବୋ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବହୁଦୂରକୁ ନଇୟିବୋ ଏବଂ କହେି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
