Hebrews 7:11
ଲବେୀ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କ308 ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ପଦ୍ଧତି ଅନୁଯାଯୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ହାଇେଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ପଦ୍ଧତି ଦ୍ବାରା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଧ୍ଯାତ୍ମିକ ଭାବରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରାଯାଇ ପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ। ଅତଏବ, ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଯାଜକର ଆସିବା ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ଥିଲା। ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ଭଳି ନୁହେଁ ମାତ୍ର ମଲ୍କୀଷଦକଙ୍କେ ଭଳି ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଯାଜକର ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ଥିଲା।

ଲବେୀ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କ308 ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ପଦ୍ଧତି ଅନୁଯାଯୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ହାଇେଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ପଦ୍ଧତି ଦ୍ବାରା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଧ୍ଯାତ୍ମିକ ଭାବରେ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରାଯାଇ ପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ। ଅତଏବ, ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଯାଜକର ଆସିବା ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ଥିଲା। ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ଭଳି ନୁହେଁ ମାତ୍ର ମଲ୍କୀଷଦକଙ୍କେ ଭଳି ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଯାଜକର ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ଥିଲା।

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
