ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ବାର୍ଦ୍ଧକ୍ଯ ସମୟରେ ଜନ୍ମ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଯାକୁବ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ପାଉଥିଲେ। ଯାକୁବ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ ଏକ ବିଶଷେ କୋଟ୍ ବା ଅଙ୍ଗରଖା ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ଯାହା ନାନା ରଙ୍ଗ ରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣିତ ଥିଲା।
