ଆଦି ପୁସ୍ତକ 26:28
ସମାନେେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଲୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଭାବିଲୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଚାହୁଁଛୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର।

| certainly | רָאִינוּ֮ | rāʾînû | ra-ee-NOO |
| that | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| the Lord | הָיָ֣ה | hāyâ | ha-YA |
| was | יְהוָ֣ה׀ | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| with | עִמָּךְ֒ | ʿimmok | ee-moke |
| thee: and we said, | וַנֹּ֗אמֶר | wannōʾmer | va-NOH-mer |
| Let there be | תְּהִ֨י | tĕhî | teh-HEE |
| now | נָ֥א | nāʾ | na |
| an oath | אָלָ֛ה | ʾālâ | ah-LA |
| betwixt | בֵּֽינוֹתֵ֖ינוּ | bênôtênû | bay-noh-TAY-noo |
| us, even betwixt | בֵּינֵ֣ינוּ | bênênû | bay-NAY-noo |
| make us let and thee, and us | וּבֵינֶ֑ךָ | ûbênekā | oo-vay-NEH-ha |
| a covenant | וְנִכְרְתָ֥ה | wĕnikrĕtâ | veh-neek-reh-TA |
| with | בְרִ֖ית | bĕrît | veh-REET |
| thee; | עִמָּֽךְ׃ | ʿimmāk | ee-MAHK |
